Training starts for Dandenong and Cranbourne

Training starts for Dandenong and Cranbourne

Today is an auspicious day for the EMR Training Team as they finally get to do what they do best and start the Dandenong and Cranbourne face-to-face training on the EMR.

“It’s really exciting, as our team’s ‘Go-Live’ is more like the 17 June,” said Denise Owen head of the EMR Training Team. “It’s the day that many months of work creating lesson plans, e-Learning videos, facilitator and Quick Reference Guides will finally come to fruition. The team are absolutely stoked and ready to go and I couldn’t be prouder of them, they’ve really put their hearts into this.”

You don’t want to wait too long either as Denise explained, “In order to facilitate the best possible learning experience we want each attendee to have a computer for hands-on learning. This means classroom spaces are limited to the number of computers available, so Dandenong and Cranbourne managers should book their people into their learning across June and early July now. Waiting may mean that classes are already fully booked, so book now.”

Managers at Dandenong and Cranbourne can book their people onto the classroom learning via the online learning management system, LATTE. Further details can be found on our Training Page.

If you find you cannot view all your team members’ names or have any difficulties when trying to book then please contact the EMR Training Team as soon as possible.

Managers whose people work at other sites are kindly requested not to book their teams into the Dandenong and Cranbourne sessions (17 June to 2 August) as this will take places from those who need to be ready for Go-Live 1.

Bookings will be open soon for our Clayton sites.

It’s ready…steady…go for the EMR Training Team!

If you’re attending face-to-face training, don’t forget to complete your required e-Learning modules beforehand to get the most out of your classroom session. Details can be found here.

Good luck and all the best to our first batch of EMR trainees, this is just the beginning of your learning journey. There’ll be more opportunities coming soon to practise and familiarise yourself with the EMR including a Practise Domain with guided practise scripts, and proficiency sessions. Your Super Users and Champions are ‘warming up’ with their training commencing too. They will ensure you have a helping hand and support throughout your journey to Go-Live and beyond.
