Hey Clayton, time to ‘warm up’ for EMR training

Hey Clayton, time to ‘warm up’ for EMR training

Bookings for EMR training have now opened for all our Clayton sites. If you are working across Monash Medical Centre, Monash Children’s Hospital or Jessie McPherson Private Hospital, your managers will be booking you into your training.

Once booked, you can expect an email confirmation from LATTE within a few hours with your training dates and course details (these may go to your private email or spam folder so be sure to check there too).

Training for Clayton sites will run from 5 August to 4 October 2019.

To get the most out of your training, everyone is expected to complete their online e-Learning prior to attending face-to-face training.

Your e-Learning is made up of a series of short videos and quizzes. The videos will guide you through the EMR screens that are relevant to your work area.

For some of you, your program will list a comprehensive number of videos. Each one is designed to walk you through a new workflow on the EMR in a digestible segment. The videos build, one-by-one, into a robust program to support your learning. Remember to take regular breaks and complete your e-Learning in sections to give you time to absorb the material. LATTE saves your progress so you can return where you left off.

If you’ve been booked into face-to-face training you can access your relevant e-Learning modules by:

  • Access LATTE here.
  • Log in using your Monash Health credentials.
  • Your EMR course program will be listed in the ‘My Required Learning’ section of your home page dashboard
  • You can complete your videos in several sittings and return to where you left off at any time.
  • Your progress and completion will be automatically recorded on LATTE.
  • Similarly to all required online learning, you can complete your EMR e-Learning during work hours.

But why wait? Everyone can access the EMR e-Learning videos now, find out how here.

We’re supporting your EMR learning with training Quick Reference Guides, a Practise Domain (coming soon) and lots of familiarisation activities packed into our  events calendar, so take every opportunity to get involved and ask questions. As an added bonus, you can also return to your e-Learning videos as many times as you wish.

We are excited that our Clayton trainees are embarking on their EMR learning journey and wish you all the best. You’ve got this!
