‘Big’ device delivery begins at Dandenong and Cranbourne

EMR printing devices have already been deployed at Dandenong and Cranbourne and now it’s time for the ‘big guns’.

Workstations on Wheels (WOWs), laptops on trolleys, medication tablets and associated accessories are rolling in from this week. The summarised timelines are below, but if you’d like a detailed deployment schedule by device type, click here.

There’s been a lot of hard work that has gone into the devices from the original audit and consultation period to the delivery and installation. This week sees yet another key milestone of the EMR program coming to fruition, with a delighted Karen Wigg, Nursing Manager Dandenong Hospital Birthing Unit, taking charge of the first EMR laptop on a trolley on Monday.

Dandenong Hospital device deployment will occur from 24 June to 19 July 2019.

Cranbourne Integrated Care Centre device deployment will occur from 22 July to 23 July 2019.

Once devices are deployed, and the Practise Domain is live, employees at Dandenong and Cranbourne will be able to continue their EMR learning journey and practise their newly found knowledge from training.

Practise Domain details are coming soon!
